I have seen plenty of post on the black specks cause by body oil,soap scum ect. coming from the jets. There are plenty of system cleaners on the market. Jacuzzi has a 2step cleaner and there is sani-bath,whirl-out and many more. My suggestion is to clean in your shower and relax in your jacuzzi(whirlpool) and clean the system once a month.
