I've started to remove the original tile. The problem is that with the tile comes the stucco or whatever it is comes with it. This stuff goes back probably 1.5 to 2 inches into the wall. I want to somehow get all of it out (and from what I can tell it's a pain in the @ss) and use concrete backer board. Any suggestions?
