Please help before I roll right out of my house!!!

I have an area that use to be a porch and it has a downward slope (I'm told this was done to help with the drainage of water) The area is now enclosed and I would like to make it an office area- problem is my chair has wheels and I will roll from one side of the room to the other.

I want to put down hardwood floors. Can I just pour a leveling agent, even though its a pretty significant slope?

My house is probably 70- 80 yrs old.

Also, some advice for outside fencing, I was thinking about a bamboo fence? Any suggestions or comments about that?
