We got a wild hair and decided to tile our shower and bath floor only when we pulled the laminate up (2 layers) we discovered that the toilet had been leaking underneath. There is massive rotten wood. We have removed the pressboard and are starting to remove the 2x10 subfloor boards, but what do we do about the boards that run under the wall? Chisel them out? And is the wall fine while there is no board under it (this may be a stupid question)? Detailed help is greatly appreciated!!
