Your question is too broad. The fix depends on whether it is splitting in two with a horizontal crack or with a vertical crack, whether the crack goes all the way through the entire chimney, what the chimney is made of, whether it is internal or external, and how it is attached to the house.
You need to call a local chimney specialist, get the usual eye-popping estimate, then cry. Your problem doesn't sound cheap.
