Hi,

I have a Kenmore front load washer model 417.42142100.

Recently, the washer has been leaking due to the timer getting stuck on "short wash" (it starts at "heavy wash", passes "wash", advances to "short wash"). Water fills up in the drum and eventually there is water leaking from the front, bottom, side--all around.

To recover, the water inlet is turned such that there is no flow, then the timer is turned past "short wash". At this point, the washer will drain properly and spin.

Any advice on how this may be fixed?

Thanks,

Steven
