My garage door ( for whatever reason) has ceased to operate properly and I don't know why. We changed the battery in the remote to be sure that that was not the problem. When you are at the "master" switch mounted on the wall, the gargae door will open and close but only if you hold the button down for the entire length of time. With winter and the rain coming and having a disabled wife I need to get this thing fixed, and I'm just not sure where to begin. It's a model 139.53635SR2 serial no. 37242B00506. We've had it for so long that I know longer have the manual, and am totally lost. HELP! By the way, it will open with the remote control, but not close.
