If you have not torn out a existing lights you can get a conversion kit which will have a big enough cover plate.
There are a number of different types of kits available.
A google on - conversion recess lights pendant - will find them.
If you have already remove the can lights you can get plastic ceiling medallions. Lowes and HD has them by the ceiling fan. But I suspect that they will be too big your needs.
