who owns enough 16" i-beams then your 2nd best friend who's got the track-hoe... did this work on our 1860 home - its not for amateurs,,, if you've got a slab now in the bsmt, i'll give you odds on the super bowl now its not original.
w/today's municipal rqmts, i'd guess the 1st place to start's going to be your 3rd best friend who happens to be a professional structural engineer who'll call HIS best friend, the architect,,, good luck !
