response to dried thinset dilema

Thank you for your response. Actually, I didn't do this, my boyfriend did. When I saw it, I almost flipped. He keeps telling me, "I'll get it off." I told him, "Yes,perhaps, but not without ruining the marble or spending hours trying to resolve the problem. I've been working in the tile, stone and plumbing industry for years, so I know what lies ahead for him. I can't believe he didn't wipe this up immediately. He's a smart guy, but I'm not sure what he was thinking. LOL. Thank you, again.
