High washer drain

** Is it possible for a washer to empty out going up about 5 feet of wall so I can just directly drain it outside? Do the newer machines have the power to do that? **
That will depend on the make and exact model of washer in question and how 'hearty' it was manufactured.
5 feet *from the floor* might not be outside of what some washer pumps are capable of doing. If not, some models might have a 'high volume' pump available to replace the original to enable it to drain to such an elevation.
Check the washer's installation instructions or with the manufacturer.
