I cannot get the gas valve on my garage furnace to open unless I reduce the gas pressure with a manual valve. Then once the gas valve engages, the burners will not light unless I increase the gas pressure again. Consequently, it will not automatically cycle (on/off) unless I manually adjust the gas pressure every time.
Is this an issue with the gas valve itself? The gas pressure regualtion? or ??
