The home I am working on has a bathroom in the basement below the water level. On normal days (a household of 6 people) the main problem is that the toilet just won't flush properly. On HEAVY days (6 + 4 guests) towards after the majority of the people have taken showers...THE TOILET BEGINS TO OVERFLOW (BACKFLOW) AND SPILL ONTO THE FLOOR!!!
I am looking for some type of toilet unit or backflow preventer, for lack of a better word, that will only allow the toilet water to flow one way, OUT!!!
It is a new leach field. I have cleaned the transition area where the overflow spills into the overflow leach field.
