thanks. that is helpful. it is not a flat roof. just no access and probably not much room up there.

i will keep the plaster, cut access panels and maybe cover up the popcorn
ceiling with drywall.
perhaps the electrician can cut a big enough hole to crawl up there?

plumbing case is outside the building?
