Hello, I have been trying to get heat out of this dryer. Everything seems to function except for heat. When a load is put in it will just keep running & not stop. Turn it on with high heat to check it & drum turns but no heat. I can not afford a new dryer but parts are starting to add up as well. I have already repl'd the igniter and the thermal fuse/relay. Having those overnighted cost almost $100.00.
I do not know how old the dryer is as It came with the house I bought 5 years ago.
Is there anyone out there that has run into a similar problem & has successfully repaired it themselves? At this point I am afraid to keep pouring parts into it without more knowledge vs hiring repair man or buying as new dryer. My next thought would be the temp control / timer unit but it is $93.00 for the part.

Any advice anyone could offer would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Jimmy
