The dryer is turning and there is some heat but it is not totally drying the clothes in one 50 minute setting. Then there was wetness found on the inside of the door you lift to take out the lint screen to clean it which I have never seen before. A few days ago on someone's advice we moved the dryer out and checked the vent for any clogs. There was a piece of paper removed and lint as far as I could reach(which was wet, the lint was damp not drenching but indeed moist) I took it out where I could reach in where the wall leads the air out(it is in an apartment so there is no outside place to see the air go out the building so where it is going is a mystery)anyway I put on a new vent hose, checked the dryer side for any lint and clogs there was none and put it back to working and it seemed fine for a couple of days then today the water was back on the door! Though today at least it did eventually dry the clothes as opposed to last time when it made the laundry area seem like the tropics and the clothes were in the dryer more damp than when they went in and very warm to the touch. What is wrong? April or May of this year a new heating element was put on so that can't be it? Please advise. Could there be a clog of lint pass the place I can reach and thus need cleaning or unclogging by my apartment manager?
