Don't adjust any pressure without knowing what pressure you are adjusting to, I don't think that is the problem anyway. I am not sure why the temperature at the furnace is affecting the operation but something is turning the power to your gas valve on and off. The only thing I can think off that might be temperature sensitive would be a connection. I would check every wiring termination in the furnace, you have already done it for the switches you have replaced but pay particular attention to the grounding wires. Furnaces with control boards or ignition modules are very particular about grounding issues and overtime corrosion and vibration cause low voltage grounds to be ineffective and possibly when you are heating it up sufficient connection is made to make a good enough ground to allow operation. Just a wild guess but the only one I can think of, by the way don't feel bad problems like this eat up about 60% of "technicians" too
