I would talk to the contractor to see what options are availabe. Obviously any plan change would require additional funds to cover the cost and labor of the project. Also check the original blue prints to make sure the contractor did not change the lay out without your authorization. I worked in a lumber yard with contractors on speck and customized homes for 10 years and found they were usually open to changes if the owner was willing to pay.
