We have a two-year old Lennox gas burning furnace and a hot water rad system. Our problem is excessive CO emissions in the flue gases. Last winter the technician came to clean the furnace and commented on it. He said maybe the air was too moist in the basement because we hang laundry to dry down there. Now this week, we had the furnace cleaned again and the serviceman said again the flue gases were too toxic "Couldn't believe it" he said. He said the furnace was also unbelievalbly dirty 0 dirtier than furnaces that hadn't been serviced in 2 or 3 years. He said it's this make of boiler. I find the carbon monoxide levels alarming. Should I contact the manufacturer? New liner in chimney only afew years again, and it's stainless steel.
