I have a 3000 sq. foot deck that, after eight months, was covered with mold. I have been dealing with the company for over one year and still have gotten NO satisfaction. They market a product that is "low maintenance" "never needs any treatment" "will last for years." This is absolutely a falsehood. They blame the mold situation on the environment. The problem is that the wood fibers in the product "breed and foster the growth of mold and mildew." Fiberon should never be used on any deck unless you are in a climate that receives NO rain or snow. Consumer Reports in July 08 also noted that this product has a mold probem.
