There is an IF in the situation.
IF the tanks have been connected as dual tanks with cross-over pipes to allow the tanks to balance,
(which is the usual smart way to pipe them)
then the one gauge should suffice to tell the level in both tanks.

The gauge usually doesn't tell you the amount, just the level, so you are able to see if it is giving numbers of gallons or level, not us - the internet doesn't have a paranoid camera to allow others to see what you have.

Yes, you really have to find out the MAKE and MODEL to get good answers. There IS more than one machine made.
