make your cutout using ONLY straight lines,,, this'll require chord cuts on the corners,,, after you get the waste out, you can then use the blade to curve as nec.
we use 4" grinders w/.110/.250 blades,,, method works on granite OR marble but uncertain what 'granted marble' is be definition.
