I recently had the water line to my ice maker break and it flooded my Kitchen and my Ductwork in my house. After I cleaned all of it up I thought nothing of it. However I started doing some remodeling and removed one of the wall next to my refrigerator to find that the bottom of the drywall has green mold on it. It appears dry as if you move around it you can see its also dusty like mold dust but it has green stuff on it. Will I have to replace all of the drywall that has this stuff on it or will it be fine? Is this the same as black mold? Also if the drywall is dry now will the mold continue to spread? I have another area that got really wet from a broken washer line but shows no signs of mold on the outside, however this spot did not either. I should mention the drywall has a vinyl wall covering on it. Its a manufactured home so its 1/2" drywall with a pre-installed wall covering on it. Thanks!
