That appears to be about a 1990 model and without safety sensors.
If you have little children or pets that might run in and out then it would be a good idea to get a new unit.
If you want a keyless entry pad that would tend toward getting a new unit, but check which package you get. That is one difference between different models. But you can buy it separately.
If you see heavy wear on the track or trolley then that is another reason to replace it.
The control board for your unit is no longer available. But I believe that most of the mechanical parts are.
If you are tight on money then just repair this one.
If you do get a new one them I really, really like the newer belt drives.
And if this is a concern for you there are models will battery backup. But from what I have heard here the batteries only last a couple of years.
The Chamberlains (Home Depot, Lowes, etc) are the same as the Craftsman. Just a different cover, number of lights, how many remotes and keyless, etc.
