I just bought a house that need some wall attention. each wall of the house need repair work of some kind ranging from 4" to 10" holes. the existing walls have a spray on mud texture in a light-medium orange peel. When I patch all of the holes in the wall, I am worried i will not be able to match the existing pattern. Someone suggested I retexture the whole wall over the existing texture. Can I texture over existign texture?
