Deck on Rubber Roof

I want to build a deck over an existing rubber roof.
The rubber roof is slightly pitched (.001%). The roof
is in excellent condition. I just don't know how to
lay joist down on a rubber roof.

Could you give me a hand. I live in Woburn, Massachusetts.
The house is 150 years old but in great shape. The
rubber roof is approximately 5 years old.
