Clothes dryer vent

You shouldn't be using any sort of "hose". Approved dryer ducting (see the following link) should only be used and that would leave out flexible vinyl ducting which might be referred to as a hose. Rigid metal ducting should be your first (and only?) goal.

Dryer venting should be cleaned at least yearly as part of regular home maintenance but the better the vent installation the less it will cause a problem. Rigid metal ducting is easier to clean when the time comes.
