Thanks for the tips. None of the Lowes in this area carry it ... they will order it but there were limited sizes they could quote on which makes no sense because they have to made on order ..so it would have to be trimmed ...plus it's a pig in a poke and pricey as heck because it's special order! So I finally found a source and I bought a roll of the vinyl clad alum ... now I just need to find a brake even though I did have limited success "by hand" actually I was using some 12X12 wood to sandwich it in as I worked it with those wide flat nosed pliers followed with a block and hammer to bend it all the way over ... too time consuming and not accurate enough to avoid some waves. I'll have to rent a brake somewhere I guess unless I can use a small sheetmetal brake and work it through in stages? anyone ever try that? I just think it's a shame no one sells a few basic sizes of this stuff around here? It amazes me that no one does actually ...it seems like such a great idea! What a hassle though to find and find out how to do it yourself!
