Maytag Duet washer

This machine is killing my clothes! Sure they are soft, I would call them worn out! Twisted, tangled, wrinkled and battered this duet washer is the worst. I tried to return it but HH GREG they said "sorry" it is after the 30 day return. We wash clothes on Saturday so by the time I had used it 4 times the return period was over. I called Maytag they said you just aren't use to the $ saving water (skimping) feature (according to Maytag) new machine. I have not seen any $ savings on the water bill! All wash times are ridiculously long, some taking an hour and more! Can't be saving anything on electric bill either! I can't tell you how much I regret spending $1,000.00 for the "TOP OF THE LINE" washer. By the way I had a repair man come out and check on the twisting of the clothes and he said, yep that's what these washers do! Lovely isn't it, there is no recourse! Stick with the good old fashioned $300.00 machine and have clean, wrinkle free clothes that don't seem thin and worn after the first wash.
