lawnmower carbs are very simple to take apart. If you leave the newer gas in the tanks/carb for any extended period of time they varnish over and get a white gunk in the bowl which clogs the needle valves etc.
take it apart and clean it out. Be careful not to use Carb cleaner on any of the O-rings cause depending on the make/model, the carb cleaner will eat away at the O rings.
Make sure in the future you use "Stabil" in the gas, it keeps water from getting in the gas and reeking havoc with small engines. I've actually emptied a chain saw that had BROWN fuel after only 7 months cause of this new reformulated crap.
