I'm Edie Kello, the product marketing manager for Fiber Composites. To clean mold, many commercial products are available. Cleaners containing sodium hypochlorite (bleach) can be an effective short term solution. Cleaners containing sodium percarbonate have proven successful at keeping mold at bay and are environmentally-friendly. Be sure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions. Eco-friendly cleaners include, but are not limited to:
• Corte Clean, http://www.corteclean.com/
• ConcrobiumXT Eco-Wash and Mold Defense, http://www.concrobium.com/newProducts.php

Clearing leaves and other debris off your deck and cleaning your deck at least semi-annually help to remove dirt and organic matter that supports mold growth. More detailed cleaning instructions are available at this link: http://www.fiberondecking.com/uploads/news/original/fiberon_decking_care_&_maintenance.pdf
