Mrs. Smith, just because you've closed on the house
doesn't mean you're done with the builder. Every new
house has defects and problems that must be fixed after
possession is taken, and given the obvious lack of
concern demonstrated by your builder, I'd guess you're
likely to see many. I sympathise with your desire
to keep your ideal house/lot, but realise the trade-off
you are making may be costly. This contractor obviously
has little concern for quality, no control over his
subs, no scruples about decieving buyers, and a
childish need to control people through his angry
outbursts. What's going to happen when you go back
to him in a few months with a list of the things that
don't work or are defective? I wish you the best of
