The interior of our entire first floor walls and ceilings are stucco. This was part of the original build about 30 years ago. The stucco was stained or tainted. We would like to change the color of the walls and ceiling or maybe even better yet smooth out the walls so that we can change the color. Any thoughts on how to do this? We have heard that painting the interior stucco walls is a really bad idea.
