How did you repair the sandstone? We are buying a Victorian house (117 years old) that is going to need some restoration/repair to its sandstone foundation and decorative trim. We are not sure what to do. The previous owners had painted over it with a heavy paint and where it is pealing, the sandstone is crumbling. We are considering having it cleaned and coated with decopierre, but aren't sure if this is a good option. Thanks in advance for any help.
