we install granite although i dont consider myself a granite expert I have picked up different tricks from various installers and always eager to learn more anyways uba tuba is a dark color with very shiny flackes the problem I have ran into is deciding on whether to add color to the apoxy when seaming the counters the reason is the apoxy is supost to dry clear but comes in a yellow form before mixing the hardener if it drys clear it comes out very nice and blends in well with the glass like flackes the problem is sometimes it drys yellow or turns yellow or white when scraped clean or polished when this happens it looks very bad what makes the apoxy some times dry clear and some times yellow i dont know but to fix the problem i have found the best way is to very carefully scrape the apoxy out of the crack and remix new apoxy with a black paint but not too much you want the color to almost be a dull black because uba tuba has very dark green colors in it mix it just a bit darker then you want it to be because when you add the hardener it lightens a bit then refill the seam using a razor blade and a rag with acetone to clean the edges if you dont want to go through all that just get a bottle of black nail polish and dab it on but use a rag so it doesnt shine then your seams will almost disapear hope that helps.
