My mother has an old Kenmore dryer model #11087874100 that starts then stops after about 5 minutes. We're considering purchasing a new model today as it's the last day of a sale, but I have two important questions:
1. Is it cheaper to look into getting it fixed? On another forum it was said that it may be the burner coils(?) of which we would need a technician to install & order.
2. If we decide to purchase a new one, we're not sure the capacity of the current model because the user manual is missing. Does anyone know the capacity so that we don't replace it with a smaller model?
