kenmore water softener

I have a kenmore water softener. About a week ago we lost water pressure. thinking it to be our pump, we replaced the pressure switch. Come to find out it is the softener. Water goes in with pressure but doesn't come out. What could be the problem? It backwashes just fine. Please help! Was this post helpful? Yes: or No:
