What you have done should not be a problem.

Although Codes typically prohibit drilling holes closer than 2" to the bottom of joists, a 1" hole through 4 consectutive 2x8 joists should not make much of a difference, and should not be cause for much concern....

...Especially if these holes are not in the middle 1/3 of the joist span.

If you remain concerned, simply glue and screw 2 pieces of 2x8 2 feet long on either side of each joist where you have bored the low 1" holes.

Then drill your 1" hole at the height you wish, then run your cable.
