I've placed laminated hardwood in my kitchen and I would like to put down T Mold transition to the other room that is carpeted. Can anyone give me advice of removing the tack strip? I know I can use a crow bar to pull it up, but do I need to cut the carpet in order to seperate it from the tack strip.
