The OP has already stated that he doesn't wish to replace the door. I suppose you could glue expanded styrene insulation on the face of the door,but that sounds quite tacky to me. Why not just hang your coat somewhere else (closet, bathroom, etc.)? Also, it is possible that the door needs better weatherstripping around its perimiter. Do you have a high moisture issue within your house?
