The best way would be to not even consider that. How did you come up with that idea ? Putting lumber over a paved driveway is just a nightmare waiting to happen.
Take your lumber and build a deck.
If you don't "really" like the paved driveway, have it removed and have a concrete driveway poured. It can be "stamped" to look like whatever you can think of and can be stained to mimic many different types of finished products.
