Corian sinks are great and are manufactured by Dupont. Corian is made of an acrylic-based product, not polyester which fades in the sun.
Moen also make a great prouduct called moenstone. This is a High-Grade Quartz Composite, fade proof, chip proof, Non-porous (wont stain), scratch resistant, withstands temp. up to 446 F. sink, and can be place above or below the counter.
I sell these sinks and they are incredible. So you might want to take a look at one.
