I started getting water in my basement about 5 weeks ago after a heavy rain fall. I have check all outside parimeters of the house and have corrected and problems that were evident. So i contacted a few different basement waterproofing companies and they told me that my outside drain tiles are no longer working to their full capacity. So they have suggested that I install an interior system in the basement. My question is "What's the difference in using pvc or the black plastic ads system..". One company says that the pvc is garbage and the other says just the opposite. Any help on this issue would be greatly apprciated. Also what should a homeowner look for when hiring a compay to do this type of work. Thank you very much.
