Some Help ... Posted by Jay J -Moderator on October 9th, 2000 08:09 AM In reply to Dog urine on hardwood floor by Boo on October 9th, 2000 07:38 AM [Go to top of thread]
Hi Boo, I don't know if what I'm giving you here will get out any type of 'ring' that got made by the stain. For some reason, I have a strong feeling you'll have to refinish the floor to COMPLETELY 'fix' your problem. I can only hope that someone else can say more. (And perhaps the mfgr. of the OdorFix can tell you too.) But first, here are a couple of past Posts on the subject. Read through them all even if they don't EXACTLY apply to your question. You may still find useful information. Pet Odors/Stains I, Pet Stains/Odor II, and OdorFix FAQ. See if anyone else posts up here before you make your plan. For now, my best to ya and hope this helps. Jay J -Moderator PS: When you say 'save the floor', I suspect it's fair to assume that you don't want to have to either re-finish the floor or rip it up. No, you shouldn't have to rip up the floor. At worst, if you DO have to refinish the floor, you can clean it a 2nd time to see what happens.
