Hi Dave, I can tell you about my experience with icynene foam I had reto-fitted into my "project" eariler this year. I have a 3800 sq. ft. house with 10 ft. ceiling up and down. The siding was bad on one wall, necessitating removal, so I had both open walls and closed walls. Most of the closed walls were opened by taking two to three boards off the inside in at least two places per wall. Where the walls were open the foam cover pretty good, but where the walls were not completely open the coverage was poor. I had to call them back and I've stuffed the trimmings in spots all over the place that I've found. The cost was about $7500.......not cheap. There was also overspray that has really been a pain. The thing is is that it is advertised as retro-fitting being a good application for icynene. I don't recommend it unless the walls are completely open.
