Hi, We had our house built, and when we were doing our walk-through we found a v-shaped tear and also a pretty deep gash in our kitchen linoleum floor. Our builder said that they would have someone come out and "patch" those by cutting those two tiles out and putting new ones in place of those. Everyone I've talked to has to us NOT to do that, but to have them replace the floor. I don't want them to do something that's not necessary, but I don't want those seams coming apart in the years to come. Also, there's some bluish staining showing up on that same floor and it looks like it's coming from underneath the tile. It seems like I've heard something about the glue they use can cause this??? I don't know, but I would like some advice on how to proceed with this. Thank you very much!!
