Hi, Susan. There is quite a bit already on the board about this. Hit ctrl-f on your keyboard and a box will appear. Type "cabinet" without the quotes in the box and keep left clicking. You might also check the same way at www.citristrip.com, the Ask the Experts.
I will warn you that bleaching stain out is a difficult and kind of nasty procedure, but it can be done. I also see ads featuring Bob Vila for cabinet refacing. You might check this out also. You probably would need new door and drawer fronts but this would still be quite a bit cheaper that all new cabinets.
