I have two, approximately 100 year old, fireplaces that burn coal. They have what looks like a decorative casted metal face. However, use over the years has darkened them a great deal. Is there anyway I can restore it to their original luster? I think that the metal is either brass or copper, maybe even both. It is hard to tell.
