I too am trying to get paint from my otherwise beautiful fireplace. When I bought the house it came this way. Trust me when I say that Peel Away is not doing the job. I don't think that any product will actually get it back to normal condition. I think my only options at this point are either repainting it a color I can live with or resurfacing with brick. I know there is a product that looks like brick, but is very thin. Does anybody know anything about this?
