I have old plaster walls and the previous owner removed a window...however they did not do a good patch job. They did not even try to match up the other pattern. They just stuck heavy grass cloth wallpaper up to cover it up.
Well I have took the wallpaper down and I now want to paint the wall.
How can I patch the plaster or try to even out the texture? Should I just rewall paper it?
And I have a window that I want to close up - what should I do to not have this problem again.
